This bilingual safety job aid empowers Tacomazing food truck staff to respond quickly and confidently to kitchen fires using the P.A.S.S. method. Designed for high visability and rapid comprehension, the 18"x24" poster combines bold visual hierarchy and side-by-side English/Spanish instructions to support just-in-time performance in emergency situations.
I used Canva to build a color-blocked layout with branded fonts and a playful-but-serious tone aligned to Tacomazing's identity. The wireframe and visual rhythm were planned to ensure readability from 6+ feet away, with alternating column colors and icon-driven steps guiding users through fire extinguisher operation. A simple emergency bar reinforces when to stop and call 911, balancing urgency with clarity.
I storyboarded the layout in collaboration with brand constraints and refined the structure to meet cognitive load best practices. The final product is print-ready and optimized for real-world deployment across Tacomazing's mobile kitchen fleet.
