When I became a teacher 9 years ago, I did not realize how much I would love not just teaching, but also creating learning materials that made learning click. As I learned more about learning theories, I found myself more drawn to designing engaging lessons and developing resources that made complex ideas easier to understand.
That passion led me to step away from the classroom and into instructional design, where I now focus on building meaningful, effective learning experiences. I’m excited to use my skills to help organizations create training that truly makes an impact.

10 Things You Should Know About Me (Besides What’s on My Resume)
1. 🎨 I’m creative at heart. I love researching new crafting hobbies and making things with my hands. If it involves glue guns or washi tape, count me in!
2. 🕵️♀️ I’m low-key training to join the BAU (kidding… kind of). I’m hooked on crime and medical dramas like Criminal Minds, CSI, and Chicago Med. Storytelling, suspense, and strategy? Yes, please!
3. 🩰 I live for rhythm and melody. I was on the dance team in high school, and dancing and singing are still my go-to outlets for joy and stress relief.
4. 🌐 I’m bilingual and bicultural. I was born in Korea and speak Korean fluently, which helps me connect with diverse audiences and brings cultural awareness to my design approach.
5. 🧠 I design with empathy and clarity. I’ve created 250+ learning objectives and know how to make complex tools feel intuitive, especially for educators and IT leaders who already have full plates.
6. 🎧 Thocky keyboard sounds = peace. There’s something deeply satisfying about the “thock” of a mechanical keyboard. It’s my version of ASMR bliss.
7. 🗂️ I’m an organization nerd. Unread notifications? Not on my watch. I color-code my desktop folders and organize apps by task and mood. It’s my happy place.
8. 🎥 I’m a content chameleon. Whether it’s building out eLearning in Articulate 360, editing video, or designing infographics, I love blending media to make learning stick.
9. 🍜 Noodles are my love language. My comfort food ranges from creamy gnocchi soup to a hot, cozy bowl of pho. If it’s warm and noodly, I’m in.
10. 💖 I lead with a heart. Whether I’m designing a course or mentoring a teammate, I care deeply about creating learning experiences that are human, helpful, and a little delightful.
